Friday we got together at TR's again for another wonderful steak dinner and funship with the group. It was a crowded place this time as we had 19 show up but they also had a group of 30 show up at 5. Food was good as always. It did take some time for a number of the group to get their food but as busy as they were, it was to be expected. There was the usual good times and good conversations and we make arrangements for several to attend the PGR mission the next day.
Ray's new tire was the topic of several discussions. He got a car tire put on the rear. This is a somewhat new thing for the 1800 riders. Some say it's crazy, some love it. He decided to give it a try and is having good luck with it so far. Price if very similar but you get much better mileage out of the tire. Something to think about. You might want to talk with Ray and get his opinion. We'll be keeping an eye out to see how things go for him.
